Depop is a growing online fashion marketplace where users can buy and sell clothing. Their mission is to make resale mainstream and to promote circular fashion.

Accomplishments: Over the course of a semester, my partner and I hosted 9 events: 2 tabling events, 3 upcycling events, 2 swap shops, and 2 educational seminars. The goal of these events was to promote circular fashion while also helping Depop gain a stronger presence on campus.

Marketing: I worked on all the promotional materials pre and post events including flyers, photos, and videos. My video work was highly recognized and even featured on Depop's campus ambassador application page. Click below to see more.

Our Biggest Event: On Earth Day, we organized a clothing swap in collaboration with campus organization Carolina Thrift. Our event, hosted at UNC Chapel Hill’s bell tower, brought in over 100 attendees. We were also joined by student-run sustainable organizations The Meantime Coffee Co. and Student-Made Store UNC.
